SimGames.net Advertising Code
Members of SimGames.net are required to place our advertising code on the top or side of all of their pages. You are free to choose any of the following options: the 300x250 box, the 728x90 banner, the 120x600 skyscraper ad, or popups only to use on your site.
The 300x250 box advertisements do not contain any popup advertising! Both the banner and skyscraper advertisments do contain popups as well. The popup option includes a popup twice every five pages but has no visible banners of any kind.
You are free to incorporate the advertisements into your site's layout, but they must be placed to meet the following guidelines:
- The ads must appear on all pages other than chat room pages.
- Sites revolving around forums must use the 728x90 and 468x60 Rich Media Banners with Popups.
- If you use banners, they must be visible to a user running an 800x600 screen resolution, upon loading the page, without the need to scroll. This is true for any of the visible advertising options.
- You cannot place more than one ad on each page. You may mix and match between the four ad types, but you cannot place two or more of them on any single page.
- Sites may not modify or change the ad code in any way or form. They must remain in its original format.
- Banner ads cannot appear at the bottom of any page.
- Ads may not be placed in a static frame that could be reloaded periodically
- If you run competing advertisements on your site, you agree to give our advertising the priority position on each page of your site that carries SimGames.net ad code
Sites that fail to display advertisements properly will be issued a notice. If, within a two weeks, the problem is not corrected, hosting services will be suspended until the user agrees to correct the issue immediately. If the user subsequently fails to respond to the suspension, the account will be terminated one month after suspension.
